Their approach is to understand, advise, and act across their various fields of expertise, using open, interdisciplinary scientific methods that engage both education professionals and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most pressing issues today is mathematics. Often seen as difficult, math can also be a source of beauty, mystery, and excitement\u2014yet many students lose interest in it. Even more worrying, studies over the past three decades show a steady decline in French students\u2019 math performance, especially in arithmetic and problem-solving.
